The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bernice Robinson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Grandma, I will always remember sliding across the seat of that old car of yours in route to church! Your Potato Dumplings were simply the best on earth! Nobody makes them as you made them. It is known that I thought yours were the best. Old hymns bring me comfort each time I hear them, thanks to your early influence and singing. Also, I remember the times you taught me life lessons. There were many. For example, cleaning my own dirty, smelly socks, on a washboard, when I chose to go on my daily adventures without sneakers, which ultimately cured me of that habit! Thank you for the fun summers at the lake and Salem swimming pool! Also,thank you for the good memories and the habit of prayer, which helped me get through some tough times and remains a large part of my life today.
