Obituary for Jeffery L. "Arch" Moore

Jeffery L. “Arch” Moore, 52, of Morgantown, WV (formerly of Fairmont, WV), passed away Wednesday morning, September 12, 2018. He was born in Parkersburg on December 8, 1965, a son of Barbara Moore of Bridgeport, WV (formerly of Fairmont, WV) and James Moore and his wife Karen of Missoula, Montana.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Dr. Kaira Moore and Kennedy Moore of Morgantown, WV; one brother, Brad Moore and sister-in-law Angie of Carollton, GA He is also survived by his “Aunties” Sandra (Bill) Miller, Rebecca Miller, and Deborah (Jim) Kinney, all of Bridgeport, WV; Uncle Phil (Esther) Hooper of Galloway, NJ, plus several cousins and countless friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his special Grandma and Grandpa, Frank and Helen Hooper of Maple Lake, Bridgeport; and an uncle, Charles (Ed) Hooper of Virginia.

Jeff graduated from Fairmont Senior High School, Class of 1984 and Fairmont State University, Class of 1990, where he was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) Fraternity.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday from 4 – 8 p.m., where services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, with Reverend Sam Schwenk presiding. Interment will follow in Bridgeport Cemetery.
