Obituary for Adaline Doris "Addie" Graham

Adaline D. Graham, 89, of Clarksburg, wife of the late John W. Graham, Sr. passed away on August 10, 2016 in Logan, OH. Addie was born on November 20, 1926 in Wyatt a daughter of the late Homer and Snowy Snider. She was the last survivor of eight siblings.

Addie graduated from Mannington High School and went on to graduate from St. Mary’s School of Nursing and Salem College. During her career she worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and Clarksburg VA Hospital and she retired from UHC in Clarksburg.

Surviving Addie are her step children, John W. Graham, Jr. and his wife Gayle of Logan, OH, Susan L. Graham and friend Alana Bouman of Clayton, NC; grandson John W. Graham, III and his wife Christine and great grandson’s Sean and John W. Graham IV of Clayton NC; granddaughter Susan C. Hobson and her husband Steve H. Hobson and great grandchildren Sophia, Jaxon, Makenzie, Ryleigh and Johnathan of Carlisle, IA.
She is also survived by her loving friend Jo Burdock of Clayton, NC. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. Addie was an avid golfer, She belonged to the senior citizen center where she played bridge with her dear friends, and she also belonged to the spa for many years. She was Protestant by faith.

Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm, where services will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
