Lester Harold Flanigan, 78, of Rogersville, PA passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 in Waynesburg, PA.  He was born July 28, 1937 in Clarksburg a son of the late John Curtis Flanigan and Mary Elizabeth Short Flanigan.
He is survived by one son, Michael Flanigan who resides in North View; six brothers, Jim Flanigan of Sardis, Bob and Johnnie Flanigan all of Rogersville, PA, Charles and Randell Flanigan of Clarksburg and Paul Flanigan of Mount Morris, PA; 3 sisters, Jean Shumaker of Rogersville, PA and Lucy Flanigan and Lexi Wright of Clarksburg.
He was preceded in death by one brother Billy Flanigan and one sister, Emma Flanigan
Lester was employed for the city of Clarksburg for a short time.  He enjoyed car racing and going to the car races.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 am with Reverend Jon Hayes presiding.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.
