Obituary for Judith Lane Davis (Davis)

Judith Davis, 67, of Sun Valley, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday evening, February 15, 2016. She was born in Clarksburg on September 18, 1948, a daughter of the late Wilbert J. and Martha (McAtee) Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Garry Davis.
Also surviving are her son, Josh Davis and her daughter, Holly Watzke, both of Clarksburg; four grandchildren, Bryceon Timothy, Savana Alexzandria Burk, Gabriella Nicole Anderson, and Aubrianna Joy Davis; a sister, Carolyn Winans and her husband Jerry, Salem; a sister-in-law, Rosa Davis, Willingboro, NJ; and several nieces and nephews; and her mother-in-law Sue Davis of Pittsburgh, PA
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Zane Davis; and a granddaughter, Kinley Grace; and a brother, Ronald Davis.
Judy was a graduate of Victory High School, and was a homemaker. She loved God and loved her church, Bible Church of God. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Friday, February 19, 2016 from 3-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 10:00 am with Pastor Bobby Nuzum and Pastor Jim Nuzum presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
