Obituary for Harvey Lee "Bud" Taylor Jr.

Harvey Lee “Bud” Taylor, Jr., 79, of Wolf Summit, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1935 in the Davisson Run Road Community a son of the late Harvey Lee Taylor, Sr. and Mary Virginia Carter Taylor
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Delores Jean Cutlip Taylor whom he married on April 25, 1953.
He is also survived by three sons, Dale Taylor and Danny Taylor, both of Wolf Summit and David Taylor of Hall’s Run; a son and daughter whom he and Jean helped raise, Chad Keith and Crystal Keith Hill; five grandchildren, Melanie Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Zane Taylor, Tara Taylor and Bethany Lofton; and six great grandchildren; one sister Betty Wagner, of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Taylor and one sister, Pat Posey.
Mr. Taylor was a supervisor at International Products and was a truck salesman at Chenoweth Ford until his retirement. He enjoyed farming and he was an avid Coon Hunter. He was a member of Duff Street United Methodist Church.
Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday with Reverend Brian Seders, presiding. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Quiet Dell.
