Condolence: The Shahan grocery store was across the road from Ruth and her family, in Bristol, WV. Charles, her brother and I played together as kids for years...also played basketball together at Bristol High. I graduated in the class of 1943 from Bristol. Ruth was four years ahead of me, graduating in 1939. Didn't know Ruth all that well, just that she was "Charles sister". Condolences to all of the family. After spending 46 years in Florida, we relocated to Clyde, NC in 2006
