Obituary for Patrick Daniel Fragmin

Patrick Daniel Fragmin, 48, of Washington, D.C., entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 23, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer in Anmoore.

Patrick was born in Clarksburg to the late Dominick “Bay” and Patricia “Patty” Fragmin on February 17, 1965. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1983. He went on to Washington, D.C. to pursue a career in the Culinary Arts. He was employed by both the St. Regis Hotel and The Hay Adams Hotel in Washington, D.C. for over twenty years. He enjoyed travel, movies, playing with his dog Rosie, and helping people. He was an active member of Local 25 Hospitality Union where he has served many years as a union leader.

He is survived by his loving sister, Anna (Simon) Harvey, his two brothers Larry Anthony “Tony” Fragmin (Brenda) and William “Shawn” Fragmin (Shannon), three nephews, Garrett Harvey, Kyle Harvey, William “Willie” Fragmin, and his three nieces, Makala Meadows, Dominica “Niki” Fragmin Peters (Wylie), and Isabella Rose Fragmin.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to all his friends and work “family” in Washington D.C. who made his life happy and full. We especially would like to thank Nilxon Ventura, whom he thought of as a brother, his special friends who were as close as family Hedwig, Maria, Brian, Luis, Franklin and Kenia and their son Daniel who was like a Grandson to him. Patrick touched the lives of so many people with his kind heart and generosity and he was well rewarded with their love and devotion. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
