Obituary for Lawrence J. Eneix

Lawrence “Larry” Joseph Eneix, 58, of Maple Lake, passed away Wednesday evening, June 24, 2009. He was born in Clarksburg on June 28, 1950, a son of the late Lloyd Joseph and Joan Gissy Eneix. He is survived by his wife, Debra Toothman Eneix; his son, Chris Eneix, Maple Lake; three daughters, Katie Eneix, Maple Lake; Kim Nicholson and her husband Bucky, Stonewood; and Elizabeth Eneix, Maple Lake; four grandchildren, Kristin Hatfield, Stonewood; Hannah Gorby, Maple Lake; Zachary Nicholson, Stonewood; and Aiden Gorby, Maple Lake; a brother, Bob Eneix, Wilsonburg; and two nieces and a nephew. Larry was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1968. He was a retired truck driver, having last worked for National Mine. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and friend. He was a NHRA fan, loved living at Maple Lake, and was an avid Bridgeport High School sports fan. The family would like to thank Tender Loving Care Hospice for the assistance they provided, which allowed Larry to remain at home where he wanted to be. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 707 3rd Street, Stonewood, WV, with Father John Ledford as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Camden Memorial contributions in Larry’s memory can be made to American Diabetes Association, 471 East Broad Street, Suite 1630, Columbus, OH 43215.
