Send Condolences to the Tinney Family Charles William Tinney Charles William Tinney, 70, of Roane Avenue, Clarksburg, died Tuesday afternoon, October 30, 2007, in the United Hospital Center. He was born in Clarksburg on May 22, 1937, a son of the late Frank and Versie Pope Tinney. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wilma Joan Ross Tinney, whom he married May 22, 1969. Also surviving are 3 daughters, Brenda Lou Myers and DeeAnna Lee Suttner, both of Florida; and Jodie Elaine Mustachio, Clarksburg; his son, Charles Franklin Tinney, VA; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Chuck was a devout Christian and served in the Air Force from 1954 – 1961. He retired in 1995 as a coal miner with over 25 years of service. At his request, no visitation or service will be held. Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park. Burnside Funeral Home, Bridgeport.
